Very good condition. The edges of the covers are lightly rubbed. The dust jacket is in very good condition, with rubbing. The spine is faded. There are a couple of short closed tears in the top edge of the front panel. Price-clipped. Signed by Waters on the half title page. Frank Waters wrote 27 books, including novels, biographies, histories, and essay collections. The majority of his fiction and non-fiction mirrors Waters’ wide interest in the culture and religion of Navajo, Hopi, Pueblo, and pre-Columbian peoples. He felt that all his books were immediate failures in the beginning. However, they were constantly reprinted in small printings and translated into foreign languages until finally gaining worldwide recognition.
