Mark Kerridge formed his magnificent angling library over a period of nearly forty years. It is now housed at California State University, Fullerton. This essay originated as an address for the Friends of the Library, University of California, Irvine, and Patrons of the Library, Cal State Fullerton, on the occasion of a dinner sponsored by the Fly Fishers Club of Orange County, April 24, 1969, in celebration of the Bicentennial of the State of California.
