The first, which occupies more than half of the volume, presents the author's plan for young people's studies, noting the subjects to be covered, the qualities required of a master, and the authorities on which the plan is based. The second part consists of Duguet's plan of classical studies, with a catalogue of the historians and other authors cited, while the third part contains a dissertation on the nature of education.
