By Diamond, Elizabeth Watson
1949. Cleveland: Hyacinth Press, 1949.

Slim 8vo, 11 pp., with a frontispiece and 8 plates (7 mounted). Original printed wrappers and spiderweb glassine, head of spine bumped and chipped but otherwise a fine copy. Together with the original announcement and two TLSs from the author.

§ Limited to 100 copies, a very scarce and quite lovely collection of bookplates for children or children's book collectors, the second collection of bookplates published by the Hyacinth Press (the wrapper bears the title "A Second Garland of Bookplates"). The nine bookplates are prefaced by "A Mother's Viewpoint" and "An Artist's Viewpoint." Four of the bookplates are hand colored, eight are tipped-in, one is printed, and one features as the frontispiece and is printed on silver paper. Laid in is the original announcement and two typed letters from the author to a fellow bookplate collector. The booklet was printed by the author and her husband.
