Original wraps bound into gorgeous full mottled calf binding, with four raised bands on spine, four pages of lush marbled paper both in the front and rear, and exquisite dentelle work around borders of inside boards. Exotic tales of Arab world is set off throughout by Islamic ornamentation, the whole effect being evocative of the perfumed harem. A little starting on the lower front gutter, and some rubbing along whole of spine edge. Otherwise, fine.
