Signed inscription by Andrews and J.A. Leavitt on the front endpaper: "Compliments of E. Benj. Andrews and [also signed by] J.A. Leavitt." Leavitt appears to have been a Baptist minister that occasionally wrote lectures on Christian theology. Penned on the same front endpaper are also the names of "D. Denyes" and "G.W. South" (last name lightly crossed through). Also with the blindstamp of Thomas A. Schoeck on several pages. Good (some wear corners and ends of spine; spine label rubbed with small chip; hinges cracked but tightened). $75.00.
