An incomplete volume which consists of a vignette title-page, followed by 6 steel engravings (with blank interleavings) and pages 1-16, 57-64, 81-88, 121-136 and 145-152. Original reddish brown cloth. Gilt lettering and decorations on front cover. 33cm. Extremities worn. Corners bent. Two leaves have been cut out prior to the vignette title. Contents, such as they are, are sound and clean. We would like to believe that this was some kind of a salesman's sample but there are no blank leaves to enter subscriber's names and no evidence of removal of any leaves other than the two leaves at the beginning.
