Elaborate presentation inscription on front free endpaper to "Sister Leonard" from eleven fellow members of Myrtle Rebekah Lodge #84 [Lockport, NY], dated 1917. A romance of New York and London. Urania Nott Sangster, a native of Buffalo, New York, was the sister of noted American pictorialist painter Amos W. Sangster. She authored a number of volumes of poetry and fiction as well as several patriotic and temperance tracts. This title not in Smith.
