§ Limited to 325 copies. Facsimiles of the only 10 letters known to have survived written by Blake to his friend and patron of thirty years, Thomas Butts (1759-1846). Also included are a rough draft of Butts' reply to Blake's first letter and a debtor and creditor account between them for the year 1805. This is the first time they were reproduced in facsimile, and the first time Butts' letter has been printed in full. Bentley, Blake Books, 90.
