Washington, D.C., 1941. Two creases for envelope. Staple removed upper left corner. Written on UInited States Senate letterhead and dated July 18, 1941. A letter to Mr. R.B. Oliver III, City Attorney of Cape Girardeau, Missouri from Mr. Truman as a member of the Committee on Interstate Commerce. The letter references the acquisition of the site for the new Post Office and Courthouse at Cape Girardeau. SIGNED by the next President of the United States while he was in the Senate.
