2 Volumes, 4to, publisher's half maroon-brown morocco and cloth stamped in gilt, marbled edges and endpapers, illustrated (many double page maps) text in double column, x11, 784; [2], 785-1562 pp. Light shelf wear, and some scuffs to leather, early owner's signature endpapers, map of Europe is loose, very minor aging; internally near fine, exterior very good. A nice set. This is a rather scarce two volume school world atlas with over 1500 pages; including nicely detailed maps of New York, Alabama, Colorado, Illinois, Western States, Dakota, United States, France, Great Britain, and Turkey and Greece. There are also many text illustrations, and the publisher's notice slip to subscribers is tipped in at the front of the first volume. (Inventory #: 100926)
