This story of "The Gaucho War", published by the Argentine Bibliophile Society under the direction of Armando Braun Menendez, is part of a series of six stories by Argentines illustrated by Argentine artists. The illustrations from the pen of Jorge Argerich (1905-) were etched and drawn by Raul Veroni in his hand press. Printing by Francis A. Colombo. Leopoldo Lugones Argüello (1874-1938) was an Argentine writer and journalist. La Guerra Guacha was first published in 1905 and made into a film in 1942. Colombo Fine Printing 238.
