Scarce set of pamphlets with only two copies recorded on OCLC of the Barnes pamphlet and none in American libraries; and only two copies of the Scott pamphlet recorded on OCLC with only one in American libraries. The primary pamphlets include one by the Rev. Henry Frederick Barnes, rector of Bridlington Parish, who wrote this pamphlet at the dedication of the new east window in the church illustrated in the frontispiece plate. He gives a history of the window, a detailed description of the design and symbolism of the various sections of the window, along with dimensions. The other major architectural one is on the proposed restoration of the Church of St. Mary and St. Nicholas in Nantwick which includes four plates of the exterior and interior of the church.
