Bound in publisher’s green cloth with title vignette stamped in black and gold on the front cover and the spine; shelfwear to the extremities including a bumped spot on the bottom of the back board near the spine; contemporary previous owner inscription on the first blank; scattered foxing/toning throughout else contents clean and binding sound; illustrated throughout with in-text and full page engravings; scarce;.
