Title lettered in black on front. Light edge wear to portfolio, else a fine and complete set. The complete series of 8 lithographs by this great french illustrator, 7 of which are SIGNED IN PENCIL BY ROBIDA. The original lithographs depict the cities of France and Belgium destroyed by the Germans in World War I. Included are Reims, Louvain, Senlis, Malines, Arras, Termonde, Soissons, and Ypres. Each of the fascicules was originally sold separately. At some point, sets of the 8 prints were gathered together and issued with the portfolio. Complete sets, with the lithographs signed by the artist are very rare..
