Philadelphia: L.R. Bailey, Printer, 1850. 78pp. Disbound and lightly worn, else Very Good.

"Carey's critical review of 'Report of commissioners appointed to investigate...,' published earlier in the year. In ten 'Letters to the people of New Jersey,' Carey charges that the report of commissioners Aaron Robertson, James S. Hulme, and Alexander Wurts was merely a repetition of the statements of the directors of the joint companies, rather than an impartial investigation." Felcone. Carey says the Report "is entitled to no confidence whatever," and promises to hale the joint companies' managers "into court with their books and papers, be there subjected to the examination which honest men, charged with such offences, would long since have courted."
Felcone 467. OCLC 8246761 [11].
