New Haven: Thomas and Samuel Green, 1789. 23, [1 blank] pp. Bound in modern card boards and half cloth, with gum label at base of front cover. Very Good.

A scarce Oration, mourning the loss of Newton, a young man of "strong and capacious understanding, a judgment sound and mature beyond his years, a rich, though not a flighty imagination." Moreover, "he was endowed by the author of his existence with a correct natural taste," and "his disposition overflowed with benevolence." Newton had intended to practice law "in his native state of Massachusetts." Something like pneumonia killed him.
