Little Rock, Arkansas: By the author, 1942. Very good. First edition; 9 x 12; pp. 1-33 (recto only); original bright red stapled wraps; mimeographed text; a few faint spots to covers; minor creasing to upper corners; small rubbed spot to back cover; internally fine; overall very good to near fine condition. An uncommon publication, it presented a study on the psychology of mimicry and gave lengthy explanations and examples of the different sounds and the precise way of executing them. The author was a major in the US Army and the Sponsor-Director of several Tropical Research Expeditions in the early 20th century.
