Illustrated with sixty hand-colored engraved plates and numerous architectural plan drawings. First published in 1799, this remarkable architectural pattern book offers a diverse collection of structural styles from primitive huts to the grandest of mansions. The plates are beautifully colored with many of the images illustrating the elements incorporated to the age of the great English houses, showing stables, gates and lodges, houses for plants, estate bridges, etc. Most of the designs are accompanied by illustrations of their elevations and room layouts.
