Printed heavy cardstock folder, containing a tipped-in replica of a broadside originally printed by the Women's Co-operative Printing Union in San Francisco. The broadside advertises travel by ship to Sacramento and Stockton. The Women's Union Print was established in 1868 to give women work in a trade that had so long excluded them. This limited edition piece of fine press ephemera was created for the January 1993 meeting of the Sacramento Book Collectors Club.
