Includes one ALS, 1 page, mechanically copied MSS of 8 poems (10 pages), 3 page mechanically copied biography with comments on his work with 4 holograph lines. His poems had appeared in Poetry, American Poetry Review, The Saturday Review, Chelsea, The Hudson Review, Shenandoah, and other prestigious publications of the era, Lewisohn writes that poet John Logan suggested that he send Claire some work and notes that if Claire does not want to publish it he should keep it. Lewisohn was quite infamous while a tenured professor at University of Maine, he was convicted (truncated)
