By Butler, Joseph
London: J.F. Dove, 1828. Hardcover. Very Good Minus. Hardcover. Includes an account of the character and writings of the author by Samuel Halifax. Very good minus in brown paper covered boards with brown cloth spine and paper title label to spine. This book has been amateurly rebacked with the repair visible along both joints. The bottom edges of both boards are dampstained; however, there is only water damage to the bottom edges of the first and last few pages. There is chipping to the spine, wear to the edges, and minor soiling to the boards. Occasional spots of foxing to the interior and offsetting from the frontis to the title page. Overall, the interior is clean. The binding is tight. Octavo. 287 pages. REL/121812.
