Clear acetate jacket with 2 closed cuts to upper corners and faint wear, very good. Initially published as 18 separate articles in the San Francisco newspaper 'The Golden Era' in 1853, the stories follow the pre-Gold Rush events in California through the years of 1845 to 1847.
