B." gilt-stamped on boards, details gilt-stamped in spine compartments (5 raised bands); square 8vo (7.5 x 8.75 inches); contains 24 tipped-on reproductions of famous portraits and scenes (usually religious), printed in sepia or b/w, and surrounded by original watercolors (beautifully accomplished botanical borders in full-color). Corners and spine tips gently scuffed; faint waterstain at the very top edge of a few leaves (small, trimmable). A lovely variety -- bluebells, snowdrops, lily of the valley, branches, ivy, and more.
