By Young, E.J.
N.p., 1883. 8vo, pp. 8; text printed in double columns; self wrappers, edges a bit toned, else near fine. Speech addressing an upcoming vote to "approve and sanction the sale of intoxicating drinks" in the town of Waltham. Young concludes thus: "Let, then, every one who loves this town and desires to see all its inhabitants prosperous and happy, vote, and let him persuade his neighbors to vote, NO!" It should be noted that today the city of Waltham does sell liquor.
