Very good, slight foxing and soiling throughout with the exception of an irregular stain running vertically on pages 26 through 29 and pages 148 through 161 that appears to be from a plant or other object laid into the book at some point in the past, plate 5 has been rebacked with a small portion missing from the lower left margin not affecting the details depicted in the plate. 11 1/2 x 7 1/4 inches, full calf with small ornament in gold on front cover, rebound with modern leather spine, worn and chipped at edges and top and bottom of spine, [4], x, 200, [2] pages comprising the index to the plates including 6 engraved plates (5 folding). The first edition of Tull's important work that revolutinized the practice of farming throughout Europe.
