first edition
London; (1954)
by Williams, Charles L.
London; (1954): Faber & Faber. First Edition. Octavo. 230p. A 1954 reissue of the scarce 1932 edition. Williams writes of the complexity of relationships dealing with the Tarot deck, using the Juggler, the Hanged Man, the Fool and others and how good and evil contend for them. Bound in maroon cloth, spine lettering gilt, a small strip of sunning to foot, in a very good unclipped yellow dust jacket lettered and ruled in black, small red stains to front panel near spine, some chipping to spine ends with a small, closed tear to head and just a bit of tanning to edges of rear panel. A very good copy.
