New Orleans, LA: The court, 1842. Documents. Each 4to, one-page, two with blank integral leaf, all six docketed on verso; all of the forms set a date in the court for hearings on a plea for bankruptcy, by (1) George E. Payne, (2) J.B. Hallin and Lucien Herman, (3) E. Ford of Forsyth, Goodwin & Ford, (4) John Mangum Hall, and (5 & 6) William Riddle. Each was sent to an agent of the United States Bank, W.W. Frazier (with two signed by him on verso), asking that he appear to "show cause why a certificate for bankruptcy should not be granted." Very good. All folded. (#5562).
