The Deutsches Wochenschach was a weekly German chess magazine devoted to current events around the world, but with a focus on happenings in Germany. It was first published in 1884 and had a continuous run through 1927. Occasionally some weekly issues were combined. It incorporated Berliner Schachzeitung in 1898, which started in 1896. Some what of a scarce publication, Bibliotheca van der Linde-Niemeijeriana collection lacked volumes 1-5. A Large and extensive amount of period information on chess.

Condition:

Rebound lacking original wrappers, leather scuffed, some age darkening to pages else a very good copy.
