For C. V. Glines- Friend, confrere, and competition (who is already 14 books ahead of me!). Bob Burkhardt." Glines was a noted World War II veteran and an well-known aviation author and biographer. He is an honorary "Doolittle Raider"- one of only five veterans given the honor for his efforts in recording and publishing books about the famous raid.
