First American edition openweave cloth boards gilt in dust jacket. Jacket is a little edgeworn, an entirely clean sound copy, near fine. Jacot is eccentric, a less flamboyant Velikovsky who ponies up hard science easily; he prefaces the plates section with the unusually mother-hennish dictum that "The following are more than illustrations of a text; they are all subjects for deep meditation."
