Extra illustrated with clippings, postcards, original drawings, ephemera, and one photograph. Dedicated to Gertrude Alison Densler. Uniformly toned at edges; gently worn; minor tears.

Book commences with the popular Italian tale "Fagiolino" by Elisa Amati, translated by Alan C. Dunn. Containing 26 clipped illustration pasted to leaves, and hand-colored pen and ink drawings, depicting characters from the story. After which, book includes typed poems by William Blake, William Shakespeare, Walter de la Mare, Carl Sandburg; and other original works by the poet are clipped and pasted-in. An original, hand-drawn paper doll with original hats and clothes are secured by decorative pockets. A charming "book of favorites" and a sophisticated compilation; sketches and poems collaged into this album offer a fascinating glimpse into the mind of a young artist and poet.
