Inscribed by Armand Hammer to Dolores and Bob Hope "with deepest gratitude and warmest regard" and signed by Hammer "Frances and Armand Hammer". Laid in is a letter from Hammer to Hope: thanking writing Judge Jones on Hammer's behalf in connection with his sentencing on political contribution issues. The letter is on Hammer's Occidental Petroleum letterhead, is folded and lightly creased, and signed simply 'Armand". Accompanied by a letter from the Bob and Dolores Hope Charitable Foundation certifying that this copy came from the Hope library.
