The first page, inside the front cover, features a calendar for 1888, and the pages that follow include lyrics for now long forgotten songs on the top and a short "did you know" or "believe it or not" factual, or factoid, exegesis on various eccentric topics, often with a tie-in promotional dimension to the company's Gargling Oil product. Several pages are entirely devoted to these essays and more direct promotion. 16 by 10 cm. in size. Light soiling to the cover. Age toning to the leaves.
