Farmyard Play Book

(Children). FARMYARD PLAY BOOK. Akron, Saalfield, 1940. A play book containing a folding barnyard diorama. Eight farm animals (sheep, goose, cat, goat, rabbit, rooster, dog, and pig) individually depicted on stiff, dye-cut boards are connected end-to-end with cloth hinges. All fold into a cloth spine and illustrated paper board cover. Six of the figures are detached from the rest and a tape repair has been made along one of the hinges. A charming play book from the early 1940s in very good condition.
