WIth 27 exceptionally bright painted color plates of tops, rattles, dolls, paddles, wheeled toys -- with dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, mice, children, ogres, geishas, other men and women, etc. as the figures incorporated into these various playthings. On the facing page are two tone illustrations with Japanese text overlaid. The leporello or orihon works in both directions. The color plates are done on heavy card and mounted, with thin elastic cord holding them down. A few of the cords are loose or vanished.
