Pamphlet folio 7pp. In really great condition. Alfred B. Greenwood at the Sac and Fox Agency concluded the treaty in the Kansas Territory on October 1, 1859. Not surprisingly, the Indians ceded 153,000 acres to the United States to help plicate more land hungry settlers who were moving into Kansas. The Indian chiefs who signed this treaty included, KE-O-KUK (Sacs) and KA-SHA-MAH-ME (Foxes). (Inventory #: 100856)
