Prefaced by Arthur Murphy's long biography and appreciation of Fielding, this set contains the great writer's novels, plays, journals, essays, and miscellaneous publications. Armorial bookplates of Sir Samuel Hannay, bound by Haddon & Co., New York, marginal dampstain vol. one frontispiece and Fielding portrait, raised bands, spine panel gilt floret in corners.
