Some light foxing, affecting some plates. Armorial bookplate, pencil signature dated January 1897. A good, bright copy. An interesting history of early glass, based on the collection at the present-day Victoria and Albert Museum. The book is nicely printed by the Leadenhall Press—best known for its books on children's books and street literature, some of which featured the illustrations of Joseph Crawhall.
