Very good. The spine and covers are mildly bumped, rubbed and soiled, and the underlying boards are exposed sporadically along the edges. There is a contemporary gift inscription on the front pastedown, and there is a contemporary owner's name on the title page. The illustrations are lightly offset on the surrounding pages.
