1975. unbound. 1 page, 5.5 x 4 inches, no place, no date, circa 1975. In this letter, Powers responds to a collector, in full: "Your cards, signed as you requested are enclosed as is a copy of a brochure outlining, at least in part, my participation in America's man-in-space program. I am honored to be able to respond to your very thoughtful request." One horizontal fold; fine condition. American public affairs officer for NASA from 1959 to 1963 during Project Mercury. He is best remembered for coining the phrases "Mercury Control" and "A-OK" and is often referred to as the 8th Mercury Astronaut. (Inventory #: 253656)
