Farmingdale, NY: Fairchild Airplane Manufacturing Corporation, 1929. Wraps. Brochure. Near Fine. 23 by 20 cm. Unpaginated, 16 pp., including wraps. Large photos on 12 pages of Fairchild's three models of the day, including both exterior and interiors. Boasting of speeds of up to 130 miles per hour, and offering planes with some minimal creature comforts but two shorts years after Lindbergh's historic flight -- passengers are wearing fashionable street clothes on the comparatively plush seats. Fairchild was founded in 1924 and produced a good number of innovations during its history, including, as shown here, a fully enclosed cockpit. The assets of the company were sold in 2003 to M7 Alliance. Needless to say, a scarce sales promotion with no copies located on OCLC. Folded down the center at one time, with a light crease remaining. Otherwise, clean and fresh. (Inventory #: 003845)
