New York: Charles Magnus & Co, 1850. Hand-colored lithograph bifolium letter-sheet, approx. 10½ x 8½ inches; mild dampstain along right lower edge barely touching the image; all else very good. Depicts approximately 30 New York firemen in uniform, with a pump wagon in front of the fire station bearing a sign reading "Eagle Hose Co., No. 2, Organized October 1831." Magnus worked in New York City from 1850 to 1899, and letter-sheets were among his earliest work. AAS only in OCLC; Winterthur also possesses a copy.
