London, 1911. Ephemera. Near Fine. Ten-line letter on Women's Aerial League stationery, handwritten and signed by the Honourable Secretary of the Women's Aerial League, Aimee Watt Smyth. Dated 10 February 1911, and addressed to Miss Gordon Barrett, it reads: "I must thank you very much for your great kindness in giving us a meeting at your house -- We all thought it most successful and everyone was extremely interested. You made an excellent Chairman and it was so kind of you to give tea. Will you please also thank your father from us? Yours very truly..." Flattened crease from folding; a little dusty along the edges.
