With the Proceedings of the State Convention, a list of Electors, and the speech by James L. Hogeboom as president of the Convention. Enos T. Throop was officially nominated as a candidate for Governor, and Edward P. Livingston for Lieutenant Governor. Hogeboom praises President Jackson for carrying out his duties in a "frank and fearless" manner and discusses ongoing opposition against the administration by prominent members of the late cabinet. He discusses issue of roads and canals, and the President's recent veto of a bill for the same; the national and state debts; and recommends support of Throop and Livingston.
