Bold signature, circa 1915, on a blank piece of paper measuring 1.25 x 3.25 inches, set below a 7.25 x 9.5-inch photograph of the Canadian-American actress being helped off a small airplane -- the first time a motion picture was shipped by aerial mail. Pictured from left to right: Mary's mother Charlotte Pickford, official flight photographer Louis Lewyn, Mary Pickford, and flight commander Lieut. R.O. Searle. The signature is neatly mounted against a silver rectangle measuring 1.5 x 3.5 inches; the photo is quadruple-matted in white, beige, light gray, and dark gray. Set in a silvered frame measuring 16.25 x 18.25 inches. Near fine condition.
