A necessary starting point for any collector of California cookbooks – a union listing of three hundred fifty-nine items published in California from Bartholomew White's Book of Domestic Recipes (Napa City, 1866) through 1930. Blue cloth, gilt-titled on the front panel, with no spine title; we also have seen a copy with the title in gilt at the spine, and no title on the front panel. Fine.
