Watson was the Populist candidate for President in 1904 and 1908. His writings reprinted here outline the ostensible inferiority of both Africans and African American. The appended document reports instances of Belgian missionaries being raped, families attacked, etc. in during the early days of the Congo Crisis. States that Patrice Lumumba at first admitted that rapes had occurred (truncated)
