The author states: "My hope is that those who read them will be able to correct the wild delusions of many honest citizens who become infected with he "greenback craze" or the "free coinage of silver. "A very nice set bound in brown buckram, spine lettering gilt, renewed endpapers. Faint damp stain to outer margin of frontispiece otherwise internally fresh.
