Reilly & Lee, Chicago, 1917 Original pictorial cloth, illustrated by John R. Neill with 12 color plates. This is an early, but not first edition, retaining the same number of plates as the first. In later editions, fewer color plates were included. Aside from light soiling, the binding is very bright and firm. The contents exhibit the usual foxing and browning, but all plates are present and in fine condition. A most pleasing copy of one of the popular titles from this iconic American series.
